We are looking for a
Senior Accountant
to join our Finance team and support our growing international operations. This role is
hybrid
in beautiful Zug, Switzerland, with the flexibility of
two home office days per week
.

What are we looking for?

  • At least 3 years of experience in financial accounting, ideally in Switzerland and/or Germany.
  • Thorough understanding of Swiss GAAP (OR) and sound knowledge of Swiss payroll and social security regulations.
  • Professional working knowledge of English, and German.
  • Thorough understanding of German GAAP (HGB) and sound knowledge of German social security regulations highly advantageous.
  • Strong analytical skills, and attention to detail; experience in financial reporting and audits is a plus.
  • The ability to work autonomously and as part of a multinational team.

What will you be doing?

  • Oversee accounting, tax, VAT compliance, and payroll for our Swiss and German entities (with external accountant support in Germany).
  • Prepare and submit financial statements, tax returns, and audits for local and international entities.
  • Manage month-, quarter-, and year-end closings, including reconciliations and adjustments.
  • Handle freelancer payroll, payouts, and international payments while monitoring cash flow.
  • Collaborate with external auditors and tax authorities in Switzerland and Germany.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and analysis for management.
  • Continuously improve internal financial processes and assist with ad hoc finance tasks.
