Payroll Analyst

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full relationship with the external payroll provider for all Switzerland-based employees, including executives and globally mobile staff
• Provide guidance to the payroll provider on regulatory updates, internal policy adjustments, and process changes
• Handle all payroll-relevant actions under Swiss legislation, such as onboarding and offboarding, changes in employment status, tax updates, allowances, deductions, direct deposit, and international transfers
• Gather and consolidate information from various departments to prepare monthly payroll instructions
• Validate payroll data, calculate overtime and supplemental payments, and ensure entries meet national requirements
• Complete regular monthly, quarterly, and annual tasks (e.g., salary certificates, ELM submissions, BESTA, Pro Familia reporting) and generate required analyses
• Act as a point of contact for employees on payroll topics and collaborate with internal colleagues and external stakeholders

Profile We Seek

• Previous experience in payroll or a closely related field; experience working with an external payroll provider is an advantage
• Strong understanding of Swiss payroll rules, mandatory reports, and standard procedures
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-moving, cross-functional environment
• Excellent communication skills in
  German and English
• High level of accuracy and reliability
• Strong interpersonal abilities and a service-oriented mindset
• Capable of working autonomously and taking initiative
