Senior Process Expert Logistics (80–100%)

Location: Stein, Switzerland

A global life-sciences organization is seeking an experienced
Senior Process Expert in Logistics
to play a key functional role within the Logistics Department. This position focuses on designing, improving, and implementing compliant and efficient logistics processes in a GMP-regulated environment.

What You Will Do

  • Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of all logistics and supply chain processes, including goods receipt, sampling, storage, and distribution.
  • Develop, update, and maintain SOPs in line with regulatory and corporate requirements.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in local and cross-functional projects, from concept through execution.
  • Represent logistics during regulatory inspections, client audits, and customer visits.
  • Support deviation and change-control processes: perform second-level investigations, contribute to CAPAs, and ensure timely resolution in TrackWise.
  • Design and deliver training programs to strengthen team capability and ensure high operational standards.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or equivalent.
  • Extensive experience in GMP-controlled pharmaceutical or biotech logistics (inbound, sampling, warehousing, distribution).
  • Proven expertise in designing, optimizing, and implementing logistics processes.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to provide structured solutions to complex challenges.
  • Advanced knowledge of SAP MM and EWM (inbound, warehouse integration, picking, shipments).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Business-fluent German and English (written and spoken).
