The Role
We're seeking a
Research Engineer
to join a groundbreaking project at the intersection of AI and biomedical technology. You'll be working on a revolutionary 3D scanning technology with medical applications, directly contributing to advances that could transform healthcare.

What you'll do:
- Develop and optimize machine learning models
specifically designed for 3D biomedical scanning applications - Apply computer vision techniques
to extract meaningful insights from complex 3D medical data - Implement signal processing algorithms
to enhance data quality and device performance - Work with proprietary datasets
to push the boundaries of what's possible in medical imaging - Collaborate closely with the R&D team
to translate research findings into practical device improvements - Contribute to cutting-edge research
that bridges physics, machine learning, and medical applications - Optimize device performance
using advanced ML techniques and cross-disciplinary approaches
What We're Looking For
Required:
- PhD or postdoc
(Physics, Computer Science, Computer Vision, Biomedical Engineering, or related) with solid foundations in mathematics and physics - Genuine interest in physics
and understanding of physical principles underlying imaging systems - Machine Learning experience
with hands-on model development and optimization - Strong research mindset
- curiosity-driven, comfortable with uncertainty and novel problems
- Programming proficiency
in Python and relevant ML/CV libraries
Strong preference for:
- Computer Vision expertise
- experience with image processing, 3D data analysis, or related areas
- Signal processing experience
- digital signal processing, filtering, spectral analysis
- Publications or research experience
in machine learning, computer vision, or related fields - Background in optimization techniques
and algorithm development - Interdisciplinary mindset
- comfort working across physics, engineering, and computer science
