Role Description

This is a flexible and remote volunteer role for a Social Media Manager
to join our team from
January to June 2026
. This role requires a commitment of 15 hours per week. You can distribute these hours flexibly based on your availability.

We are looking for someone who is
truly passionate about commodities -
whether it's energy, metals, agriculture, or trade - and wants to help us
empower women in this dynamic sector
.

The Social Media Manager will be responsible for creating and executing social media strategies, managing and optimizing social media platforms, maintaining consistent engagement with the community. Daily activities will include crafting compelling content, scheduling posts, analyzing social media metrics, and identifying opportunities for growth and audience engagement.

Qualifications

  • Students or professionals
    in commodities trading, finance, economics;
  • Strong enthusiasm for commodities, global trade, or gender equality in finance;
  • Experience in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO);
  • Ability to create engaging content (posts, reels, stories) for Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook and TikTok;
  • Strong Communication and Writing skills;
  • Knowledge of social media trends, tools, and analytics;
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a remote environment;
  • Knowledge of Canva, CapCut or similar tools is a plus;
  • Fluency in
    English, French or italian is a plus.
