Your profile / requirements
  • German skills required at C1 (professional fluency)
  • English skills required at B1 for technical aspects
  • Extensive hands-on experience in Azure platform administration, monitoring, and operations
  • Proven expertise in designing and managing multi-cloud and hybrid (on-premise + cloud) integrations
  • Strong knowledge of Azure API Management, including enterprise configuration and self-hosted gateways
  • Practical experience in Azure identity and access management (IAM)
  • Expertise in event streaming with Azure Event Hub, including Kafka protocol integration
  • Deep understanding of infrastructure security, scalability, and governance best practices
  • Ability to deliver knowledge transfer and build internal capabilities around Azure cloud engineering
  • Relevant Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g. Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Security Engineer Associate) are highly desirable
Tasks and responsibilities
  • Build, configure, and operate Azure-based cloud platforms in enterprise environments
  • Integrate Azure with on-premise and multi-cloud environments, ensuring interoperability and security
  • Administer and monitor Azure platforms, ensuring high availability and performance
  • Configure and manage Azure API Management, including enterprise configurations and self-hosted gateways
  • Design and implement identity and access management (IAM) practices within Azure environments
  • Implement and operate event mesh solutions with Azure Event Hub (Kafka protocol)
  • Continuously improve infrastructure scalability, security, and governance practices
  • Develop and share knowledge, best practices, and training materials to support cloud adoption and maturity
  • Stay current with Azure innovations and ensure compliance with enterprise standards and policies
