ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Onboarding/KYC Specialist to join our Compliance team. In this role, you will take ownership of client onboarding, KYC due diligence, and AML-related matters, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Oversee and perform client onboarding and KYC due diligence processes, including AML-related tasks such as clarifications and assessments of PEPs and other higher-risk factors.
- Ensure the implementation and ongoing maintenance of KYC/AML policies and new regulatory requirements (AMLA, AMLO-FINMA, CDB 20, FinSA, FinIA).
- Provide advice and guidance to the Front Office on onboarding, KYC, and related AML topics.
- Prepare internal compliance notes and assessments on onboarding/KYC/AML issues.
- Plan and take responsibility for compliance reviews within the scope of the above-mentioned regulations.
- Lead or contribute to compliance projects, such as assessing new business models or implementing new software tools.
- Manage documentation and relationship life cycle processes in line with regulatory standards.
- Support audit fieldwork, including preparing files and addressing auditor queries.
- Act as deputy for the team head during absences.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- Degree in Law, Compliance, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (preferably from a Swiss university or a Swiss University of Applied Sciences)
- 3–5 years of experience in the financial industry in a similar Compliance, Audit, or Consulting function
- Strong knowledge of Swiss financial market laws and regulations, particularly AMLA, AMLO-FINMA, CDB 20, FinSA, and FinIA
- A dedicated and reliable personality with a strong team-player attitude and a willingness to take responsibility
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities effectively, and perform well under pressure
- Fluency in English and German (both written and spoken)
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
