We are looking for an
Application Engineer
to join our team of around 1,700 people worldwide to help us power up the traveller's journey for millions of holidaymakers. If you are a master in building and enhancing applications and customer care solutions., keep on reading, as you might be the perfect fit for this job.

What your impact will be

  • Design, implement, and maintain our chatbot and contact center solutions, ensuring optimal conversational flow performance.
  • Define, document, and enforce system standards as part of a continuous improvement process.
  • Troubleshoot incidents and root causes, implementing remediation actions to maintain system reliability.
  • Collaborate with the Business Product Owner (PO) to enhance customer experiences.
  • Monitor system performance and recommend
    improvements proactively.

Qualifications

Your expertise:

  • Proven experience as a Technical Engineer with expertise in omnichannel customer care solutions
  • Hands-on experience in designing and troubleshooting complex conversational flows that leverage Large Language Models (OpenAI) and sophisticated prompts and tools to automate customer request management
  • Strong software development background: MySQL, MongoDB, Javascript, CSS, HTML, PHP, Python,
  • Knowledge of AWS infrastructure/services and GITLAB pipelines
  • Basic understanding of Natural Language Processing (NLP), including TTS and ASR engines
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in a similar role

Abilities/qualities

  • Fluent English (written and spoken).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team.
  • Adaptability, communication skills, and stress management.
  • On-call availability, with sporadic international travel required
