Under the supervision of the Head of dept., implement the requirement from various perspectives, including Enterprise Risk Management, Credit Risk & Portfolio Management, Market Risk Management, Operational Risk & Internal Controls,

Responsibilities


• Enterprise Risk Management:

Maintain and enhance the bank's enterprise-wide risk management framework, ensuring full compliance with regulatory standards, internal policies, and the bank's risk appetite. Support risk governance, risk appetite reviews, and policy updates.


• Credit Risk & Portfolio Management:

Conduct due diligence on credit proposals, including assessing borrower creditworthiness, transaction structure.

Perform credit facility approvals in line with internal policies and delegated authority.

Manage the credit portfolio, monitoring loan concentrations, client ratings, asset classifications, and provisions. Perform periodic reviews and track portfolio performance to identify emerging risks.


• Market Risk Management:

Monitor and manage market risk exposures, including bond investments and derivative products.

Assess and report interest rate, FX, liquidity, and valuation risks.

Conduct stress testing, scenario analysis, and develop hedging strategies to mitigate market risk.


• Operational Risk & Internal Controls:

Strengthen operational risk management and internal control processes.

Ensure adherence to regulatory standards, internal policies, and industry best practices.


• Risk Reporting & Analysis:

Prepare and present regular risk reports for senior management and regulators, highlighting key exposures, trends, and recommended mitigation actions.

Support internal and external audits, regulatory inspections, and ad hoc risk requests.

Qualifications


• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Risk Management, or related field.


• FRM certification required; CFA or CPA is an advantage.


• Minimum 5 years of experience in risk management within the banking sector, with strong exposure to credit facilities and market risk.


• Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.


• High integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to risk governance.


• Fluent English is a must. Chinese and French/German language is a strong advantage.
