EMEA CONTROLLER MANAGER

The chosen candidate will oversee accounting operations for the Group's Swiss entities and contribute to the preparation of Sunstar Group's consolidated financial statements under IFRS, ensuring accuracy and compliance across all entities.

Reporting to our Sr. Manager Global Financial Accounting, our EMEA Controller will be an active leader and contributor to the transformational journey our financial department has embarked on. S/he will monitor the internal control processes across European operations, ensuring alignment with corporate standards.

Key Responsibilities

The EMEA Controller Manager will have the following responsibilities, among the others:

• Promote harmonization of accounting practices across European entities.
• Leading role in our Finance Transformation journey (new process / new IT)
• Evaluate and expand the outsourcing model to additional European entities based on risk assessments and operational opportunities.
• Assist in the preparation of Sunstar Group's annual consolidated financial statements under IFRS and with the affiliates coordination (about 30 entities)
• Post consolidation adjustments and ensure accuracy of group-level entries.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with the Internal Control System (ICS) for Swiss entities.
• Support the alignment and standardization of ICS practices across European operations.
• Provide coaching and guidance on ICS to local counterparts

Qualifications

• University degree with specialization in Finance / Accounting
• At least 5 years of experience in related position (audit, accounting/financial reporting), preferably in FMCG context within a multinational Company
• CPA and audit background
• Experience in Consolidation and knowledge of IFRS
• Experience in Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) a plus.
• Fluent in English (both writing and speaking). French, Japanese or Spanish a plus
