As a Senior Software Engineer (m/w/d) at GE Vernova, you will play a key role in advancing innovative technologies within the power engineering sector. Job Description
Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Windows user applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Maintain the codebase and refactor old codebases to C# and .NET
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

Experience
Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field
• Extensive professional experience in software engineering, demonstrating senior-level capability
• Extensive experience developing Windows user applications.
• Experience working in a matrix hierarchical environmen

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in C# and .NET framework.
• Strong knowledge of MS SQL and Git.
• Basic knowledge of power transformers is an advantage
• Experience with FORTRAN and Visual Basic is an advantage
• Experience working with different ERP systems is an advantag

Languages

• Fluent in English
• Knowledge of German and French is an advantage.
