Project:

For our customer we are looking for Junior Analysis Engineer to provide assistance to the engineering team

while ramping up key competences (Ref.N: 924573OK).

Job Responsibilities / Key Accountabilities:

  • Analyzes technical specifications, interface documents and job descriptions
  • Creates mathematical models and carries out structural-mechanical simulations / optimizations (MSC NASTRAN, Altair Hyperworks (Optistruct)
  • Creates strength analyzes for lightweight structures
  • Creates predictions and correlations for Static and Dynamic experiments
  • Prepares technical reports / presentations, mainly in English
  • Attends meetings and reviews and presents his work to the client
  • Actively contributes to improving the expertise and efficiency of the Stress Office (evaluation of new calculation methods, software tools, standardization...)
  • Plans, coordinates, monitors and supports the technical project work in the area of calculation
  • Controls budget and deadlines for calculation activities
  • Replies to RIDs

Job Requirements / Knowledge and Experience:

Must's:

  • University/ETH master's degree in mechanical engineering or aerospace engineering.
  • Experience in an aerospace company (or equivalent relevant experience) in the fields of:

o FE Analysis with MSC (NASTRAN), Altair (Hyperworks/Optistruct) and/or Abaqus&NX Siemens.

o FEM simulation of vibro-acoustic

o Structural analysis.

o Mechanical engineering.

  • Knowledge in FE analysis with the solver NASTRAN, Optistruct and/or ABAQUS&NXSiemens to create FE models and perform analysis.
  • Knowledge in static and dynamic analysis.
  • Knowledge in automation of the FEM simulation using a Python API
  • Knowledge in structures, mechanisms and Solar Wings
  • Advanced English language skills (reading, writing and speaking).
  • Great teamplayer and ready to share experiences
  • Solution driven, willing to make a difference.
  • Co-operative performer who puts success of team first.
  • Interested in the Space Industry developments, both regarding new technology as well as business models.
  • Organizational and co-ordination skills.
  • High commitment and initiative; systematic, diligent and independent way of working.

Nice to have's:

  • Knowledge in analysis of composites, sandwich structures and lightweight materials
  • Knowledge in structures, mechanisms and antennas
  • Knowledge in mechanical lay-out of aerospace structures and components.
  • German language skills
