Field Service Engineer - Laboratory Automation (Europe)

About the Role

We are seeking a Field Service Engineer to join our growing team in Europe, specializing in Laboratory Automation solutions. This is a dynamic, customer-facing role where you'll be responsible for installing, maintaining, and supporting advanced laboratory automation systems across multiple European locations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Installation & Commissioning: Set up and configure laboratory automation equipment at client sites.
  • Maintenance & Repair: Diagnose technical issues, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure optimal system performance.
  • Customer Support: Provide training, guidance, and technical support to laboratory staff.
  • Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with R&D and product teams to feedback insights from the field.
  • Travel: Regular travel across Europe to support client laboratories.

Requirements

  • Degree or diploma in Engineering, Mechatronics, Biotechnology, or related field.
  • Hands-on experience with laboratory automation systems, robotics, or analytical instruments.
  • Strong technical troubleshooting skills (mechanical, electrical, and software).
  • Willingness to travel extensively within Europe.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (additional European languages are a plus).

Location

This role is Europe-based with flexibility on home office location. Travel to client sites across the region is required.
