Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Java Software Engineer in WP, Kuala Lumpur. The Java Software Engineer will be responsible for software development tasks including designing, developing, and implementing Java applications. The role also involves working with microservices architecture, ensuring the integration of various systems, and using the Spring Framework for building enterprise-level applications. Additionally, the candidate should be fluent in Mandarin to support communication with Mandarin-speaking clients and teams.

Qualifications

  • You independently develop new features for the Triple'A Core
  • Work in an agile project environment according to Scrum (SAFE)
  • Monitoring, operation and lifecycle for Triple'A Core
  • Support, execution and documentation of PoCs
  • Continuous process optimization to increase quality and efficiency
  • Support as Subject Matter Expert
  • Defect, Bug and Incident Solving
  • Knowledge Transfer and SPOC for L2 Team
  • Close cooperation with the POs regarding prioritization and planning
  • Working in a global project set up

Experience / Skills

  • Advanced experience with Triple'A Core
  • In depth programming experience in Unix scripting and Java
  • Temenos Certification an advantage
  • Experience in operations and support
  • Experience in environment management, deployments and CI/CD pipelines
  • Knowledge how to handle SQL queries
  • Familiar with working in an agile project environment
  • Knowledge in banking specifics advantageous
