Hello, I'm Ivo Mästinger, and I lead a dynamic team in the power plant sector. With over 40 engineers located globally, we support our clients in the execution of power plant projects – from planning, site management, and supervision of installation, to commissioning. Püssi – Grid Stabiliser, Ishinomaki Biomass, and Seaboard / Estrella del Mar III are just three examples of our diverse project portfolio. We also offer comprehensive services for existing plants.

A strong commitment to service and high motivation to work together with colleagues and clients to find solutions are key to success. For us, it's important that we can rely on each other and demonstrate a high level of dedication in our service and commissioning assignments. With my extensive experience in commissioning and project management within the power plant sector, I am happy to offer you both technical and personal support.

Tasks
  • Lead commissioning of generator excitation and / or frequency converter systems
  • Take responsibility for configuring, testing, start up and commissioning of excitation and drive systems including auxiliaries
  • Work on large scale power plants or industrial plants worldwide
  • Collaborate with Commissioning Engineers and Customers of various background and expertise
  • Troubleshoot problems on excitation and converters in collaboration with other technical experts
Requirements
  • Electrical Technician or Engineering degree
  • Hands-on experience with commissioning power electronic equipment of proven manufcturers
  • Preferably experience with established products in this field (for instance Siemens RG3-S, ABB Unitrol, GE LS2100 etc.)
  • Willingness to work internationally on challenging commissioning projects
  • You are a team player and do well with interactions with customers / co-workers / etc. of other cultures
  • Ability to communicate in english
