Our client, a global market leader in the production and process support of active pharmaceutical ingredients, both in the chemical and biotechnology sectors, is expanding its current facilities around the globe and requires professionals to support the growth. They are seeking a
Scheduler
with experience with '
Operational Readiness
' to support various projects.

This position will be directly responsible for Establish and maintain the Operational Readiness Plan (ORP) for all Operational activities in close collaboration with Engineering Team and with Operation Team:

• Owning the E2E schedules for programs (Operational readiness) including workload, updating the resources workload for PCP operation (manufacturing building)
• Lead the meeting with internal stakeholders (QA, QC, Ops, MSAT, Plant. Eng, support team,...) for E2E schedule update and tracking
• Project background / context: support/own the planification of the different projects (operational readiness) and support others tasks not only related to scheduling with Key internal and external stakeholders

This is an
initial 1 year contract with extension already planned every year
, this role is based in
Visp, Switzerland with 2-3 days onsite
.

Main Responsibilities:

• Develop, monitor and update integrated project plans and schedules so that project time lines are reflecting information from different Workstreams and ensuring that such information are coordinated and logically connected. Establish interface milestones with the CAPEX Schedule to ensure that every slippage or deviation in the CAPEX schedule is capture and reflected in the ORP Schedule
• Facilitate project scheduling meetings and/or interactive planning meetings as required by the project team
• Actively participate to Risk Meeting and support in the impact assessment of the most critical ones.
• Develop Progress Reporting System
• Establish, Coordinate and facilitate workshops for collecting input from Workstream and coordinate with Capex Scheduler.
• Resource (Labor) schedule loading, to represent the labor resources Workload required from internal and external teams to meet target dates.
• Review schedules with project team members on a regular basis to ensure that accurate and timely data is incorporated in the schedule
• Prepare and provide schedule progress reports, trending charts and schedule analysis on a periodic basis (monthly, bimonthly)
• Monitor schedule deviations and root cause analysis and support to develop corrective action, escalating roadblocks or risks that could impact the timeline.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Relevant Swiss working/residency permit or Swiss/EU-Citizenship required
• Competency using
  Primavera P6, Microsoft Project
  , Excel, Word, PowerPoint
• Familiarity with project management software in the area of cost controlling and Excel.
• 5+ years of experience in Operation Start up
• Excellent command of English: Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills. Ability to conduct analysis of complex/large data sets, draw conclusions accordingly, and prepare and support decisions.
• Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented environment.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast paced environment.
• GMP/pharmaceutical knowledge is a plus (operation/manufacturing)
• Familiarity with project management software in the area of cost controlling and Excel.
