Our client, a company located in Biel is looking for an Area Sales Manager speaking German and French to join their team.

The company is specialized in cement, sand, gravel, ready-mix concrete, precast concrete products, and recycling.

Their products stand for safety, stability, creativity, innovative design, and sustainable ecology.

Your responsibilities:

  • Responsible for sales and turnover in the different regions.
  • Support and advise customers on their projects.
  • Build, strengthen, and maintain long-term customer relationships while acquiring new clients sustainably.
  • Lead sales negotiations and prepare quotations.
  • Oversee construction sites and act as the main contact for customer complaints.
  • Analyze market and sales situations, and help prepare sales documentation (price lists, brochures, etc.).
  • Ensure efficient project management and take responsibility for the successful execution of all projects.
  • Manage large-scale projects related to material logistics and resource management.
  • Implement new, sustainable construction material concepts focusing on CO₂ reduction and the circular economy.

Your profile:

  • Completed technical education in the main or secondary construction sector, complemented by sales-oriented training,
  • or a commercial/administrative education with strong technical understanding.
  • Proven experience in sales.
  • Willingness to pursue continuous professional development – your growth will be actively supported.
  • Solid industry knowledge and a strong network within the construction sector and the region.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Resilient, committed, and entrepreneurial personality with a confident demeanor.
  • Open-minded and adaptable to change in a fast-evolving industry.
  • Languages: German (native) and French (fluent, business level).
