About the Role

Join a global drug development team driving innovation in biocatalysis and enzyme evolution. As an analytical lab associate, you will play a key role in supporting and expanding biocatalytic process development for sustainable pharmaceutical production. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform high-throughput routine analytics for diverse compound classes, primarily small molecules, using LC-UV, LC-MS, SFC-UV, SFC-MS, GC-FID, GC-MS, and RapidFire-MS.
  • Interpret analytical data, applying statistical tools when needed.
  • Document raw data using a dedicated LIMS system for sample tracking and analysis.
  • Develop analytical methods for LC, SFC, GC, and MS-based techniques.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot analytical equipment.
  • Assist in developing and executing high-throughput assays for enzyme screening.

Essential Requirements

  • Lab technician or BSc/MSc in analytical chemistry with at least 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong analytical background and familiarity with standard techniques; experience in small molecule detection.
  • Hands-on experience with instrumentation and solid understanding of separation and detection principles.
  • Ability to manage repetitive tasks efficiently and maintain high-quality documentation.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills in English.
  • Experience with LC-MS and GC-MS for small molecule detection.
  • Knowledge of triple quadrupole mass spectrometry.
  • Familiarity with analytical software (e.g., MassHunter, Chromeleon).
