Are you passionate about software engineering, system-near programming, and application-level development?
Do you enjoy working with modern technologies as well as assembler?
Are you driven to make IT faster, more efficient, and impactful in the value chain of financial information data flow?

We are looking for a Mainframe Developer with strong expertise in High-Level Assembler and z/OS mainframe technologies. In this role, you will contribute to the development, maintenance, on-call support, and optimization of mission-critical systems in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

  What You Will Do
  • Develop and maintain applications using High-Level Assembler on IBM Mainframe systems
  • Work with JCL, DB2, and REXX for job control, database access, and scripting
  • Use GIT for version control and IDz (IBM Developer for z Systems) as your main IDE
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system reliability and high performance
  • Contribute to code reviews, testing, and documentation
 
What You Bring
  • Several years of experience with IBM High-Level Assembler and Macro programming
  • Solid understanding of z/OS architecture and mainframe programming; Linux knowledge is a plus
  • Proficiency in COBOL, C, JCL, DB2, REXX, GIT, and IDz; Java is an advantage
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to implement solutions independently in complex environments
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written); German is a strong plus
