Key Responsibilities

  • Administer, configure, and optimize IBM MQ and MQ MFT environments (v9.4).
  • Manage Queue Managers, channels, queues, subscriptions, routing, and MQ clusters.
  • Implement and maintain automation for provisioning and deployments (Ansible or equivalent tools).
  • Troubleshoot messaging issues across integrated systems in collaboration with developers.
  • Support continuous delivery pipeline improvements and environment monitoring.
  • Contribute to platform modernization and infrastructure enhancements.
  • Ensure compliance with security and audit requirements in the financial domain.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years as IBM MQ Administrator in enterprise or financial institutions.
  • Deep expertise with MQ clustering, security configurations, and troubleshooting tools.
  • Familiarity with Appia FIX Engine, financial message formats (SWIFT, SIC, SECOM, ISO20022).
  • Some experience with Ansible and automation scripting preferred.
  • Strong Linux system knowledge and basic understanding of Oracle databases.
  • Exposure to continuous delivery processes and DevOps workflows
