About the Job

Based at Mandarin Oriental, Geneva, within the Engineering Department, the Technical Services Generalist is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and repair of the hotel's equipment and infrastructure. The Technical Services Generalist reports directly to the Director of Engineering and the Engineering Manager.

As Technical Services Generalist, you will be responsible for:

  • Ensure the maintenance and repair of the hotel's infrastructure and equipment in order to maintain impeccable functionality, safety and cleanliness.
  • Participate in the preventive maintenance programme for the hotel's rooms and common areas (moving, furnishing, maintaining bathrooms, assisting the hotel's painters and carpenters, assisting the Technical Duty staff in their daily tasks, etc.).
  • Management of green spaces.
  • Management of the parking lot maintenance.
  • Maintain and repair the hotel's tools and infrastructure.

As Technical Services Generalist, we expect from you:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar position in the luxury hotel industry,
  • Vocational baccalaureate or 2 years' higher education,
  • Organisational skills, rigour, availability and discretion,
  • Good interpersonal skills,
  • Basic English required.
