About us

Blackden Financial is a boutique independent, Swiss based wealth management firm specializing in advising expatriate clients in Switzerland on their financial planning needs. We are looking for a talented, hardworking intern interested in gaining experience in the world of international wealth management.

Job description

The role has two key aspects: Administrative Support & Paraplanning (research, analysis, and report-writing). Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be based in central Geneva, although some remote working may be possible. You will be responsible for a wide range of responsibilities in the complex world of financial planning and wealth management, and will develop an in-depth knowledge of financial planning, asset management, financial products, legislation and compliance requirements.

Key responsibilities:

· General administrative (back-office) support

· Database management

· Client liaison for administrative support

· Assistance to ensure compliance with regulatory obligations

· Liaise with product providers, investment platforms and fund houses

· Assist management with specific projects

· Work collaboratively with founder to develop and implement financial plans

· Prepare for and assist with client meetings

· Conduct in-depth research and analysis of client financial situations

· Prepare detailed and compliant Suitability Reports including cashflow modelling

Qualifications:

· Studying for your Masters, preferably in wealth management or a related subject and seeking hands-on experience. The internship may be an obligatory element of your qualification.

· Excellent English (written and spoken)

· Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills

· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

· Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines under pressure

· High attention to detail

· Organized and Efficient

· Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe and Excel

Duration:

Initial duration of internship - 6 months with possibility of permanent paraplanner position thereafter.
