Accounting Specialist – Reinsurance Industry (Zurich) (80%)

About the Role

You will be part of the General Accounting team, responsible for preparing IFRS and Local GAAP accounts. Reporting to the Head of General Accounting, you'll join a motivated and open-minded team that values trust, flexibility, and collaboration.
Please note that the role is at 80% workload
.

Key Responsibilities

  • Post daily accounting entries in SAP
  • Prepare payments, reports and analytics
  • Provide cover for asset accounting and accounts payable
  • Support quarterly closings under IFRS and Local GAAP

Your Profile

  • Commercial qualification or certified accounting clerk (or equivalent)
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience, ideally in insurance/re-insurance
  • Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
  • Quick learner with solid technical abilities
  • Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA (Fiori Apps) and advanced Excel skills
  • Proactive team player with strong communication skills, accuracy, and independence
