Project: For our client, a large pharmaceutical company based in Kaiseraugst, we are looking for an Automation Engineer Pharma Engineering (m/f/d)
Background:
The "Pharma Engineering DP Liquids KAU" circle is seeking an Automation Engineer (m/f/d) with a focus on programming (especially PCS7) for the Basel and Kaiseraugst locations. The "Pharma Engineering DP Liquids KAU" circle offers professional engineering services to internal customers in the areas of research, development, launch, and market production at the Basel / Kaiseraugst location.
Activities include the planning, implementation, and operational engineering of production facilities. Furthermore, customers are supported in brainstorming and developing concepts for new, innovative solutions for designing efficient production processes. Orders and projects are handled without hierarchies in self-organized specialist teams using a new delivery model. This requires a high degree of self-organization, vision, and team spirit, as well as strong communication skills. The process facilities to be managed have a very high degree of automation and are closely interconnected with each other and with higher-level IT systems.
The ideal candidate will have PCS7 programming knowledge, as well as experience with Siemens Simatic, process control systems, and B+R controllers. They will also have five years of experience in a GMP environment as a production engineer, particularly in incident resolution.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
* Operational engineering with the aim of ensuring the maintenance of production at all times
* Continuous optimization of process plants and evaluation, testing and recommendation of new technologies * Collaboration in interdisciplinary teams with internal and external employees and companies * Independent collaboration in automation projects in all project phases with responsibility for costs, deadlines, resources and technical solutions
* Support in audits and inspections by internal bodies and authorities in the area of GMP and SGU
Must Haves:
* Completed vocational training or studies as a technician, engineer in the field of automation, electrical engineering, computer engineering or a similar field
* At least 5 years of professional experience in the automation environment, preferably with a pharmaceutical background
* Very good user knowledge of automation software, in particular with Siemens PCS7, as well as e.g. Siemens Simatic S7, TIA, B+R and WinCC Classic or WinCC Flexible
* Sound experience in the GMP and GAMP environment
* Independence, initiative and integrity as well as a very high level of service willingness with a strong sense of duty and a strong team player, as well as outstanding communication skills
* Fluent written and spoken German is required

* Strong social skills, teamwork skills, and excellent communication and coordination skills, including when dealing with stakeholders and at all levels.
* Enthusiasm and a self-driven, customer-focused approach.
* Challenging conventional thought patterns and openness to new, creative ideas – even outside of familiar fields (out-of-the-box thinking).
* Ability to break down complex issues and communicate them to customers and stakeholders in a language appropriate to their needs.
