Expert Network and Strategic Project Coordinator

In this varied role, you will help contribute to strategic topics and coordinate Innosuisse's network of experts, consisting of around 250 experts and 25 Innovation Council members. This network is at the heart of our funding activities: the experts review applications from start-ups and SMEs and the Innovation Council members decide on the allocation of funding.

As Expert Network & Strategic Projects Coordinator, you will be responsible for communication, processes and the continuous development of this network. To accomplish your tasks, you will work closely with HR, Digital Solutions, Risk & Compliance, the operational teams, communications and partners within and outside the Innosuisse environment.

The position is initially limited to a fixed term contract of 1 year with the option for extension.

Your tasks:

• Designing and maintaining the community of experts and innovation council members, promoting exchange and networking, and ensuring that information, offers and processes are clear and accessible to all participants
• Planning and organising appointments, meetings, workshops and events (in person and virtual), as well as coordinating internal and external activities
• Conducting analyses, evaluations and reporting, including the preparation of target group-specific decision-making bases and recommendations
• Communicating and exchanging information with experts and Innovation Council members, as well as creating communication plans, newsletters, documents and feedback formats
• Maintaining and updating data, profiles and skills of network members, and coordinating processes such as onboarding, training, quality control, election processes, and other HR and compliance issues
• Further development of processes, concepts and tools, as well as active collaboration on digitalization, process optimisation and new forms of collaboration
• Administrative and organisational support for the division leadership and strategic projects, as well as support and management of selected strategic projects
• Implementation of measures to achieve sustainability goals in collaboration with the responsible stakeholders

Our requirements:

You have a degree of higher education with 2-3 years of relevant experience in coordination, communication and project work, or a comparable qualification. You have already worked in environments where different interests, stakeholder groups and dynamics come together, and are familiar with planning and organising exchange and networking activities.

You have an analytical mind, quickly recognise connections and enjoy working in a structured and solution-oriented manner. Experience in project management, event management or dealing with complex stakeholder landscapes will help you to quickly make an impact in this role. At the same time, you are confident in using digital tools and modern collaboration platforms. Knowledge of Innosuisse's funding instruments is a plus, but not a requirement.

You work independently, responsibly and in a well-organised manner. Your team values you for your willingness to cooperate, your openness to new ideas and your ability to quickly integrate different personalities. You express yourself clearly, precisely and in a manner appropriate to your audience, both verbally and in writing. In addition to fluent knowledge of one national language and English (level C1), you have a good knowledge of a second national language (level B1). Passive knowledge of a third national language is an advantage.
