Business Developer Scoped Projects
Adryan is an internationally operating services group. From our offices in The Netherlands and Switzerland, we offer a full range of services for the life sciences industry. We are specialised in the areas of project management, engineering, CQV and compliance.
What are you going to do?
At Adryan, the Business Developer is primarily responsible for maintaining and expanding our relationships and project portfolios within Switzerland/Europe. He/she is expected to be familiar with the services, capacities, and expertise within our organization. The goal is to achieve optimal, effective project delivery quality and commitment. The Business Developer is a key member of the Sales team, reporting to the Scoped Projects Division Manager.
Key responsibilities
Developing Customized Project Proposals
- Develop sales project package proposals tailored to the needs of clients; time and cost based proposals and follow up with clients by interviews.
- Ensure project team approach by assembling an effective team based on required disciplines.
- Identify and define challenges and needs of relationships, providing and ultimately utilizing appropriate sales
- Acquire new relationships/projects
Project Portfolio-related
- Maintain assigned project portfolios and associated stakeholders.
- Implement Adryan Projects Program, ensuring a quality delivery. Planning, scheduling, resource and cost reporting and coordination for the projects
- Attend and organize relevant project meetings with different project teams and stakeholders to achieve agreed-upon results.
- Oversight of management activities during project lifecycle and provide leadership to the project
- Support and coach individual project managers and team members of ongoing projects.
- Generate reports on ongoing project portfolios and potential project leads.
- Interfacing with Client representatives (stakeholders) for the project teams, during the different project phases.
Sales & Marketing
- Develop relationships aligned with the Adryan brand, development strategy, and long-term
- Coordinate and develop available Sales documentation within the Adryan organization.
- Follow and share trends in existing markets with the Sales Management team.
- Identify potential new markets and acquire new relationships and projects.
- Understand the strengths and weaknesses of our competition to develop the right sales strategies.
- Network and actively participate in the industry, representing the organization at exhibitions, events, network organizations (e.g., ISPE).
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, science or related technical field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience and/or experience in a similar role within an engineering firm.
- Demonstrable Sales and Project Management skills.
- Demonstrable technical expertise within the Life Sciences industry.
- Experience in GMP/ GxP
- Independent worker, also a team player.
- Service-oriented, commercial, and customer-focused attitude.
- Communicatively skilled (both internally and externally).
- Proactive, enthusiastic, and initiative-driven.
- Maintain an overview, prioritize, escalate when necessary.
- Reporting and excel skills
