InterSoccer is the largest provider of grassroots football in Switzerland, offering a mix of recreational and competitive football for boys and girls of all ages. We offer a range of courses and camps throughout the year for children aged 2-13, ensuring a fun and challenging environment for skill development. Our international coaches bring a wealth of experience, and the main language of instruction is English, with many coaches also fluent in French and German. Established in 2007 in Geneva, InterSoccer now operates in Vaud, Basel, Zug, and Zurich, coaching over 9,000 children annually. Our programs emphasize fun, health and safety, learning English, and fair play.

Role Description

This is a part-time on-site role for a football coach based in Basel, Switzerland. The football coach will be responsible for planning and leading training sessions, working with children to develop their football skills, and promoting sportsmanship and fair play. The coach will also ensure the safety and well-being of the participants, follow health and safety protocols, and communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff.

Qualifications

• Soccer Coaching and Football skills
• Excellent Communication skills
• Experience in Education and Coaching
• Ability to work with children of different ages and skill levels
• Knowledge of health and safety practices, including first aid
• English proficiency; knowledge of French and German is a plus
• Relevant coaching certifications (e.g., UEFA B license, Swiss FA Junior Coach license) are beneficial
