Job Title: Trade Finance Analyst / Senior Analyst / Manager

Location:
Geneva, Switzerland

This role is responsible for managing and optimising the company's trade finance activities. The position supports global trading operations by ensuring efficient financing, strong banking relationships, and smooth execution of trade flows across various commodities.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage issuance, negotiation, and handling of Letters of Credit, Standby LCs, Guarantees, and other trade instruments.
  • Review and structure trade finance documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor trade flows, shipment schedules, and financing timelines to support daily business needs.
  • Coordinate with operations, legal, risk, and treasury teams to ensure accurate and timely document execution.
  • Liaise with a global banking network to secure competitive financing terms and resolve documentation or payment issues.
  • Support credit line utilisation, draw downs, and facility optimisation.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with traders, operations, and external counter parties.

Experience:

  • 7–10+ years of experience in trade finance within the commodities sector (flexible on background).
  • Strong global banking network and exposure to international financing institutions.
  • Experience working in fast-paced, growth-oriented trading environments while upholding strong risk and control standards.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with trade finance operations and documentation (LCs, SBLCs, guarantees, inventory financing, etc.)
