SetupView.AI is building the foundational infrastructure that allows AI systems to understand and operate inside financial markets. Our long-term vision is a fully autonomous financial advisor in your pocket: a system that analyzes millions of data points, calls you to discuss scenarios, executes investments, adjusts portfolios, hedges risks, and even makes short-term tactical trades when opportunities appear. Beyond end-user products, the same infrastructure forms a real-world decision environment for large language models and agentic AI systems. Financial markets provide continuous, high-frequency, adversarial data streams in which agents can observe evolving conditions, take actions, and directly experience outcomes.

This environment enables models to operate in dynamic and uncertain settings, where decisions unfold over multiple steps and consequences accumulate over time. Agents must interpret context, manage uncertainty, adapt to changing regimes, and learn from feedback rather than static labels. Actions are not abstract outputs, but interventions that alter state and expose risk, reward, and trade-offs.

Such environments are largely missing in today's AI development stack. Most models are trained on fixed datasets that lack temporal depth, uncertainty, and real consequence. By providing a structured yet open runtime for observation, action, and evaluation, SetupView.AI enables scalable experimentation, long-context reasoning, and responsible deployment of agentic systems in real-world decision-making scenarios.

What this is about

SetupView.AI is tackling an open problem: how to create real-world decision environments in which AI agents can learn to act under uncertainty, evolving context, and long-horizon consequences.

As a cofounder, you will help define and build the foundations of this system. This includes shaping how environments are represented, how agents interact with them, how learning and feedback are structured, and how uncertainty, regime shifts, and multi-step consequences are modeled. The direction is intentionally not fixed. Key design decisions are part of the role.

This is a co-creation role at the intersection of research, systems design, and long-term product vision.

What you would help shape


• The conceptual and technical design of decision environments for agentic AI


• How states, actions, rewards, and constraints are defined and evolve over time


• How agents learn from interaction rather than static datasets


• How uncertainty, non-stationarity, and adversarial dynamics are represented


• How research ideas translate into extensible infrastructure

Background that fits


• Strong grounding in one or more of:

  • Reinforcement Learning
  • Sequential decision making
  • Control theory
  • Simulation or environment design


• Experience thinking about dynamic systems and feedback loops


• Comfort working from first principles on under-specified problems
