We're looking for a Product Owner to take "Red, your UBS AI Assistant," to the next level and:

• own the strategy, roadmap, and OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) as the business Product Owner of one of the newly established Red Pods
• be the voice of UBS employees, deeply understanding their needs and translating them into prioritized epics and user stories that deliver real business impact.
• create meaningful change by delivering a cutting-edge AI assistant that combines high quality, compliance, and security with an exceptional user experience.
• break down barriers to success, align with other pods, crews, and business units, and represent your pod to internal stakeholders and users across the organization.
• inspire and energize your pod, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and high performance while supporting the growth and well-being of your team members.
• define the skills and competencies needed in your pod, working closely with crew and chapter leads, and provide regular feedback to drive continuous improvement.
• stay ahead of the curve by keeping up with the latest advancements in Generative AI, natural language processing, and chatbot technologies, applying innovative ideas to enhance "Red's" conversational capabilities and user experience.
• tackle challenges head-on during product development, implementation, or deployment, ensuring smooth operations and alignment with stakeholders.

Your team

You'll join the Conversational Banking Crew in Zurich, working within the Red product cluster. Our agile operating model thrives on collaboration across autonomous pods, empowering teams to deliver innovative solutions that redefine how UBS employees work and succeed.

Your expertise

• a minimum of 5+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on technology-driven or software products. Proven ability to define global product roadmaps, prioritize features, and deliver successful outcomes in alignment with business goals.
• proven experience in leading and managing the end-to-end development of software products as a Product Owner, including project planning, resource allocation, risk management, and stakeholder collaboration. This includes working in corporate, multicultural environments, with a preference for experience in highly regulated industries.
• demonstrated success in managing the development and rollout of AI-powered solutions, such as virtual assistants or chatbots. Familiarity with the lifecycle of AI development, from data collection and model training to deployment and monitoring and a solid understanding of conversational AI technologies, natural language processing (NLP), large language models, and conversational design is essential, along with the ability to align AI initiatives with broader product strategies.
• exceptional active listening and communication skills in English, with the ability to build strong networks and partnerships at all levels of the organization. German language skills are a plus.
• strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills to coordinate across functions and align priorities with senior management.
• analytical and creative problem-solving skills, with the ability to propose bold and innovative solutions to complex challenges.
• a hands-on mentality with a proactive approach to problem-solving, collaboration, and driving results in a fast-paced environment.
• the ability to quickly grasp complex technical topics and processes, turning them into actionable insights.
• a passion for AI and emerging technologies, with a focus on conversational AI and its potential to transform workplace interactions.
