Job Description

Investment Advisor - Cross-Asset

For our client, a mid-sized private bank, we are seeking an Investment Advisor Cross Asset, reporting directly to the CIO.

You will have the opportunity to evolve within a dynamic team in a human-scale institution with an international presence.

Responsibilities
  • Identify investment opportunities and write investment ideas across all asset classes
  • Prepare and conduct investment idea and sales meetings with Relationship Managers (RMs) and clients
  • Perform portfolio reviews and make investment proposals aligned with clients' risk profiles and investment objectives
  • Provide full support to RMs and External Asset Managers (EAMs) for all investment-related questions and research (across all asset classes)
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of structured products and option strategies
  • Perform controls on advisory accounts for risk management purposes
  • Actively participate as a member of the Investment Committee
Profile and Required Skills
  • Master's degree in Finance, CFA / CAIA or equivalent qualification
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in a similar role within private banking or wealth management in Switzerland, CWMA certification a +
  • Strong expertise in equity analysis, security selection, and portfolio management.
  • Broad understanding of financial markets, asset classes, and investment products
  • Proven ability to translate investment views into actionable trading strategies for client portfolios.
  • Experience with derivatives trading as part of effective portfolio management.
  • Solid understanding of the Fixed Income and Securities environment (CH, EU, and US).
  • In-depth knowledge of micro and macro valuation drivers, as well as market sentiment, positioning, and technical analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey market insights and investment perspectives to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Team player, analytical, entrepreneurial, innovative, and reliable
  • Fluent in English, French and Spanish an asset
