Role Description

We are seeking a Switzerland Design Team Leader for a full-time, on-site role based in Basel. The position involves leading and mentoring a team of skilled designers, coordinating design projects for complex façade systems, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality results in accordance with project timelines. The Design Team Leader will collaborate with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders to address project requirements, review and refine designs, and maintain smooth communication with all involved parties. Responsibilities also include providing technical guidance, managing resources, and implementing best practices to optimize design processes.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in design, engineering, and project management specific to façade systems
  • Strong leadership, team management, and mentoring skills
  • Technical expertise in design software and tools relevant to façade projects
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills with clients and stakeholders
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects within deadlines
  • Experience in European project execution and CE certification processes is highly desirable
  • Analytical problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of other European languages, such as German or French, is an advantage
  • Relevant degree in architecture, engineering, or a similar field is required
