  • Act as a company-wide subject matter expert on security.
  • Directly manage and mentor a small group of engineers.
  • Operate within an Agile team to influence security strategy.
  • Drive accountability for application security across the company.
  • Directly manage 1-2 software security engineers including interns.
  • Identify, scope, and execute on high-impact security work.
  • Architect complex security solutions and contribute to the security roadmap.
  • Deliver continuous value through AppSec, DevSecOps, and security projects.
  • Respond to security questions and incidents, ensuring remediation.
  • Monitor industry trends and respond to major security developments.

Experience

  • 8+ years experience in hands-on, senior, and highly autonomous security roles.
  • Experience securing web applications and designing secure solutions.
  • Contributed to company-level security strategy and owned programs.
  • Desire to manage and mentor security software engineers.
  • Significant role in hiring for security professionals.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with functional leaders, product management, engineers, IT, and non-technical staff.
  • Executed broad range of security initiatives spanning infrastructure and application security.

Salary and Perks

Pay range:
$170K - $250K
