Your Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and operate a secure, stable, and resilient platform for cyber training applications
  • Develop scripts to automate software applications, components, modules, and interfaces
  • Ensure the availability and configuration of development, testing, and production environments, including the necessary network infrastructure
  • Monitor platform performance, reliability, and security; identify and resolve bottlenecks early while ensuring SLA compliance
  • Collaborate closely with DevOps and system engineering teams to align infrastructure with application requirements and integrate CI/CD pipelines
  • Maintain documentation of system architecture, configurations, and processes to ensure transparency and traceability

Your Profile

  • Degree in Computer Science, completed vocational training as an IT specialist, or comparable professional experience in platform or application development
  • Strong knowledge of virtualization and container technologies such as Proxmox, VMware, KVM, Docker, and Kubernetes
  • Passion for automation with hands-on experience using tools like Ansible and/or Terraform
  • Proficiency in scripting and programming languages (e.g. Python, Go, Bash) for infrastructure automation
  • Experience with hyper-converged systems and storage solutions such as MinIO is an advantage
  • Independent, proactive, and detail-oriented working style
  • Excellent English skills (spoken and written); German skills are a plus
