We're Hiring: Visual Inspection C&Q Engineer (Start ASAP)
Location: Stein, Switzerland Duration: 18 months (with extension option) Note: No freelancers
Are you passionate about pharmaceutical technology and ready to take on a key role in a high-impact project? We're looking for a Commissioning & Qualification (C&Q) Engineer to support the setup and validation of cutting-edge Visual Inspection (VI) systems in a brand-new commercial production facility.
This role is all about ensuring that Automated and Semi-Automated Visual Inspection (AVI/SVI) systems, as well as Container Closure Integrity Testing (CCIT) equipment (e.g. Vacuum Decay, HVLD), are installed, qualified, and validated to the highest standards.
What You'll Be Doing:Plan, coordinate, and execute commissioning and qualification activities for VI systems and supporting equipmentCollaborate with cross-functional teams (CSV, IT, Engineering, QA, Operations)Lead and support testing activities with external vendors and contractorsDevelop and review IQ/OQ/PQ protocols and validation documentationEnsure compliance with GxP, FDA, EMA, ISO, and internal quality standardsIdentify and mitigate risks, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvementReport progress and status updates to project stakeholders What You Bring:Degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field5+ years of experience in C&Q or validation in a GMP-regulated environmentHands-on experience with VI equipment (AVI, SVI, CCIT)Strong documentation and problem-solving skillsFluent in English (German is a plus)Experience with Kneat or Knapp methodology is a bonus
