- HQ Recruitment Coordinator
About ICRC
The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) works worldwide to provide protection and humanitarian assistance to people affected by conflict and armed violence. We take action in response to emergencies and, at the same time, promote respect for international humanitarian law. We are an independent and neutral organization, and our mandate stems essentially from the Geneva Conventions of 1949. We work closely with National Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies and with their International Federation in order to ensure a concerted, rational, and rapid humanitarian response to the needs of the victims of armed conflict or any other situation of internal violence. We direct and coordinate the international activities conducted in these situations.

- Proactively manage end-to-end recruitment processes, from workforce needs analysis to final selection.
- Design and apply appropriate assessment approaches (interviews, tests, case studies, language assessments, etc.).
- Demonstrate curiosity by challenging recruitment briefs, assumptions, and traditional approaches where relevant.
- Take sound and timely recruitment decisions in complex or ambiguous contexts, clearly articulating recommendations and trade-offs.
- Use recruitment data, analytics, and AI-enabled tools to support sourcing, screening, and decision-making, in line with ICRC ethical standards.
- Maintain accurate recruitment data and contribute to continuous improvement of processes and tools.
- Use HRIS and recruitment systems (SAP SuccessFactors) effectively.
- Support initiatives and process improvement.
Education and professional background
- University degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in Talent Acquisition, preferably with international exposure.
- Proven ability to manage high-volume or complex recruitments.
- Experience in stakeholder management, interviewing, and multicultural environments.
- Experience using data or technology-enabled tools to inform recruitment decisions.
- Humanitarian and/or voluntary sector experience is a strong asset.
- Excellent command of English and French required, an additional language is an asset
- Experience using applicant tracking systems, preferably SAP SuccessFactors.
Desired Profile And Skills
- Strong interest in talent search and selection, with candidate experience at the centre of your approach.
- Curious and analytical mindset, with the ability to understand business needs and ask the right questions.
- Sound judgment and confidence in taking recruitment decisions.
- Professionalism and strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
