Housekeeper for Private Chalet – St. Moritz (Seasonal Position)

Location: St. Moritz, Switzerland

Contract Duration: November 1, 2025 – April 17, 2026

Salary: CHF 4,500 gross per month

Accommodation: Provided in a shared apartment (Pontresina)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeper to join the household staff of a luxury private chalet in St. Moritz for the winter season. The ideal candidate is reliable, discreet, and takes great pride in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort in a private home environment.

You will be responsible for the overall upkeep of the chalet, ensuring that every detail reflects the quality and elegance expected in a high-end alpine residence.

Key Responsibilities

Perform daily cleaning and housekeeping tasks throughout the chalet

Care for delicate materials and high-end furnishings

Manage laundry and ironing with attention to detail

Run errands and assist with household requests as needed

Support a smooth and efficient household operation alongside the existing team

Maintain flexibility with rotating shifts to accommodate guest schedules

Requirements

Fluent English (spoken and written)

Proven, recent experience in private households or luxury hospitality

Valid driving license and access to a personal vehicle

Excellent knowledge of cleaning techniques and care for fine materials

Strong organizational and teamwork skills

Flexible, service-oriented attitude

Job Details

Full-time position: 5 days per week, 8 hours per day

Rotating schedule (Monday–Sunday); specific shifts provided prior to contract start

Salary: CHF 4,500 gross/month

Accommodation: Shared apartment in nearby Pontresina (with two other housekeepers)

All employment contracts and salary payments are made directly by the chalet owner. Taxes and social contributions are automatically deducted from the salary. Work permits will be arranged with the assistance of the employer.
