Technical Writer

For our client from the Medtech sector in Zürich, we are looking for an experienced, motivated Technical Writer
Your Tasks:
- Create user documentation such as operating, service, and software manuals
- Create assembly plans and test procedures for product manufacturing
- Create and maintain content for specific audiences using an XML-based CMS (Schema ST4) and DTP software (Adobe FrameMaker)
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Implement documentation-relevant content from risk analyses
- Product photography and image editing
- Create technical illustrations from 2D and 3D data
- Write and edit texts in English and German
- Coordinate translation projects and manage terminology
Your Profile:
- Degree in a technical field and further training as a Technical Writer, or a degree focused on Technical Communication, or several years of experience as a Technical Writer
- At least 5 years of professional experience
- Proficient with common DTP, illustration, and image editing tools (FrameMaker, Photoshop, Illustrator)
- Professional experience with Schema ST4
- Skilled in using 3D illustration software (e.g., Creo Illustrate, 3DViaComposer, or similar)
- Excellent German (native speaker level) and English (C1) skills, both written and spoken fluency
- Able to collaborate with others to gather necessary information
- Capable of filtering relevant information and preparing audience-specific documentation that meets regulatory and company requirements
