Automation & System Integrity Specialist (m/w/d)

We are currently assisting our client in their search to hire a E xpert in automation and system integrity (m/f/d) in Rotkreuz. Our client is a global leader in medical diagnostics, developing innovative technologies and digital solutions that empower healthcare professionals to make accurate and timely decisions.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Operation and maintenance of complex systems: Independent execution of ongoing maintenance, calibration, and servicing of automated machines and associated software in a regulated environment

• System and automation support: Providing first- and second-level support in the event of malfunctions. You are the central point of contact for supporting production systems, process control, and automation systems

• Process integrity and documentation: GMP-compliant documentation of all maintenance and change activities. You are responsible for adapting operational documents (e.g. work instructions, maintenance instructions)

• Digitalization and optimization: Actively driving the digitalization of maintenance (Industry 4.0, predictive maintenance, paperless documentation) and identifying optimization potential to challenge existing mindsets and create new perspectives

• Coordination and planning: Coordination of spare parts procurement and planning of maintenance windows in collaboration with production and external service providers

• Shift and on-call duty: Willingness to work in a 3-shift system and to take on on-call duty (approx. 5 weekends per year)

Must Haves:

• Education: Completed vocational training as an automation technician (EFZ), mechatronics technician, electronics technician, plant and apparatus constructor, or equivalent ( )

• Ideally further education as a Technician HF in Systems Engineering or a comparable qualification

• At least 3 years of professional experience in the operation and maintenance of complex automation systems ()

• Industry know-how: Proven experience in a highly regulated environment (pharmaceuticals, medical technology, aerospace, or automotive) ( )

• Depth of automation expertise: Solid programming experience with PLC controls and handling of process control systems ()

• Strong ability to analyze complex issues and develop independent, convincing solutions

• Reliability: Willingness to work in a 3-shift system and perform on-call duty. Local proximity to the workplace is mandatory due to on-call requirements

• Fluent German, both written and spoken, with strong grammatical skills for GMP-compliant documentation

Nice to Haves:

• IT/networking knowledge for connecting Industry 4.0 machines

• Experience working with SAP

• Knowledge of pneumatics and electrical engineering
