Your new role
This role offers the opportunity to shape the global launch of a first-in-class therapy for sickle cell disease. Whilst leading the brand, you will take full accountability for building the commercial strategy, guiding cross-functional teams, and ensuring readiness for market entry. Your work will transform clinical evidence into meaningful customer value, driving adoption and long-term impact for patients worldwide.
Your responsibilities include:
- Develop and execute the global brand and launch plan, including positioning, messaging, and forecast assumptions.
- Define customer segmentation, prescriber profiles, treatment pathways, and commercial KPIs to measure success.
- Lead cross-functional launch readiness across Commercial Excellence, Medical, Market Access, Patient Support, and Supply.
- Drive pre-launch activities such as naming, brand strategy, and market positioning.
- Oversee governance deliverables to support investment decisions and activation plans.
- Build market awareness by capturing patient journey insights and converting expert feedback into actionable tactics.
- Manage external partners and agencies to deliver promotional materials and multichannel launch campaigns.

Your Skills & Qualifications
- 10+ years in the global pharmaceutical industry with demonstrated leadership of global or regional launches; affiliate experience an advantage.
- Master's degree or higher (science or business preferred).
- Strong commercial acumen, including forecasting, customer segmentation and launch excellence.
- Experience in rare disease and/or haematology (sickle cell disease) preferred.
- Excellent stakeholder management in matrix organisations; comfortable engaging KOLs and external agencies.
- Data-driven, strategic thinker with hands-on launch execution capability.
