Role: Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop the first version of the product (mobile app + backend).
  • Define tech stack and architecture.
  • Set up infrastructure (deployment, CI/CD, analytics, monitoring).
  • Develop MVP of mobile application (e.g., React Native).
  • Create backend API.
  • Integrate payments, authentication, analytics, notifications.
  • Work closely with CEO on product priorities.
  • Build engineering processes and participate in hiring future team.

Requirements:

Mandatory Skills:

  • 4+ years of development experience (mobile + backend).
  • Strong knowledge of at least one cross-platform framework (Flutter or React Native).
  • Experience building APIs and working with databases.
  • Understanding of DevOps tools.
  • Experience publishing apps to App Store and Google Play.
  • Fluent English.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • German language skills.
  • Experience in a startup or as Lead Engineer / Tech Lead.

Soft Skills:

  • Ability to take responsibility and work independently.
  • Leadership and team-building capabilities.
  • Strong communication skills.
