We are looking for a Working Student ART Actuarial, part-time 50%, based in Switzerland.

Allianz Risk Transfer AG, headquartered in Liechtenstein since 2016, was founded in June 1997 in Zürich. It is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty AG and a member of the Allianz Group.

The Impact You Will Have
As a student in our actuarial department, you'll have a significant impact by driving innovation and efficiency within our team. Your work will enhance our actuarial tools and processes, contributing to the alignment with regulatory frameworks like the Swiss Solvency Test. By building models and automating tasks, you'll streamline operations and improve data analysis, enabling us to make informed decisions that protect our balance sheets. You'll be part of a team that values collaboration and expertise, playing a key role in our mission to be a center of excellence in the Alternative Risk Transfer business.

Some Of Your Specific Responsibilities Could Include

• Developing and enhancing actuarial approaches, tools, and processes to ensure alignment with the Swiss Solvency Test framework.
• Building stochastic actuarial models that contribute to reserving and insurance risk modeling analysis.
• Design, develop and implement R-based solutions to automate repetitive tasks and processes and to facilitate the analysis and visualization of complex data sets
• Document processes, workflows, and automation procedures

What You'll Bring To The Role

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial or a related field
• Extensive computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office, strong R/Python skills
• A basic understanding of artificial intelligence (AI) and its potential applications in business is essential
• Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills in English and teamwork abilities
