Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Network Engineer, located in Lagos. The Network Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining network infrastructures to ensure optimal performance and security. Key tasks include troubleshooting network issues, managing network operations, and ensuring a secure and reliable environment. The engineer will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to support IT systems and handle upgrades and patches.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Network Administration, including monitoring, managing, and maintaining network systems
  • Strong expertise in Network Engineering and Network Design to develop and optimize infrastructure
  • Skilled in Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to hardware, software, and connectivity
  • In-depth understanding of Network Security practices to safeguard systems from vulnerabilities and threats
  • Knowledge of advanced networking protocols and tools
  • Ability to work on-site and collaborate with team members effectively
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent) are highly desirable
