Be a part of the risk management team in an international energy and infrastructure company and help us safeguard the company against financial risks in turmoil times.

Your role

  • With an analytical mindset you will help us assess and manage liquidity, FX and interest rate risk in close cooperation with our treasury team
  • You will be working in the intersection of treasury, energy trading, accounting, and risk management
  • You are responsible for monitoring daily risk limits, conducting plausibility checks, and actively maintaining in-house tools for treasury risk analysis
  • You develop visualizations for management reporting and internal understanding
  • Additionally, you oversee data consolidation processes and perform critical tasks like CSA-margining, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations
  • Assessing internal requests for new energy trading products from a treasury risk perspective, you navigate market dynamics and regulatory considerations, contributing to a robust treasury and energy trading operation

Your skills

  • You have a master's degree in economics, natural sciences (especially physics or mathematics) or business administration with a focus on quantitative methods
  • Ideally you have 3+ years of professional experience from corporate treasury or risk management in the energy industry or banking
  • You have programming (Python and SQL) and visualizations skills (Looker or similar)
  • You are proactive and characterised by analytical skills and a practice-oriented affinity for numbers and IT
  • Good knowledge of German or English
  • You are a team player and thrive in an international environment
