We at Team Hermes are responsible for the financial aspects of Switzerland's largest online shop. We are looking for you to join our team as a Junior or Intermediate Software Engineer. Your commitment will have a direct impact on more than 15 of our online shop development teams and 4 million active customers in Switzerland and Europe.

• You continuously develop our frontend framework.
• With your commitment, you will shape the conception, implementation and testing of the basis of our online shop.
• You contribute to guidelines and best practices for our front-end development and share them with the team.
• You drive forward our Design System and adapt it to the requirements of the future.
• Your sense of web performance helps us make our shop even faster.
• You will take care of DevOps topics and continuously expand our CI/CD pipelines.
• As a team player, you communicate openly, transparently, and understandably, give constructive feedback, and accept it with gratitude.

• With at least 1 year of experience in software development as well as a higher professional education in the field of computer science (ETH/UNI/ FH ) or comparable professional experience, you bring a solid foundation.
• Modern frontend frameworks are your passion.
• Experience with our tech stack (TypeScript, React, GraphQL, , C# .NET Core, Rust) is an advantage – but more importantly, you have the ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new technologies.
• You're on the pulse of technology trends and have a good sense of their potential.
• You enjoy acquiring knowledge about new technologies, deepening existing know-how, and sharing it with others.
• With your positive attitude and a good sense of humor, you will enrich our team.
• You are courageous and open to unconventional ideas, but always act responsibly.
• You can communicate in English effortlessly.
• You are a EU/EFTA citizen or have a valid B- or C-permit.
