The Role

We are looking for a Senior Analyst/Associate who is a self-starter and a team player, capable of working independently under initial guidance and thriving in a fast-paced, high-performance, entrepreneurial environment.

About Convero

Founded in 2020, Convero AG is a European Placement Agent focussing exclusively on capital raising and transaction advisory for lower-mid-market private equity. We take on a very select number of mandates following rigorous due diligence, offering institutional-grade opportunities across primary funds, co-investments, and secondaries.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate potential investment opportunities through comprehensive internal due diligence process.
  • Contribution to the origination and execution of secondary transactions.
  • Prepare and review marketing materials, data room, due diligence questionnaires, financials models and other relevant documentation.
  • Supporting the fundraising process from execution through closing while working closely with our clients.
  • Assist the senior team in GP mapping and all sourcing efforts to win new clients, including researching, tracking, and consolidating information on fund managers across the assigned geographies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 2–4 years of experience in Investment Banking (M&A), Consulting, Private Equity, or in a Placement Agent role.
  • Ability to prepare high quality presentations is required.
  • Strong financial modelling and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to deliver projects and tasks under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Complete fluency in English; fluency in another European language is also preferred.
