Intelec AI
is a Swiss startup developing next-generation
Automated Visual Inspection (AVI) instruments
for
Printed Circuit Board (PCB)
manufacturing. Our mission is to automate the final inspection process of PCBs using
AI, computer vision, and robotics
, helping manufacturers achieve near-zero defect rates.

Intelec AI already has strong industry interest and early partnerships with Swiss PCB producers. The next step is building the
next-generation inspection instrument
— larger, faster, and smarter.

The Opportunity

Looking for a
hands-on robotics/mechatronics engineer
to join the company as an
early team member
and help design and build the new generation of our inspection platform. This is an
equity-based role
(initially unpaid or modestly paid, depending on funding). The goal is to
build together
, raise funding, and grow into a full-time technical leadership position.

What You'll Work On

  • Designing and building the
    mechanical and motion system
    for our new inspection platform (camera motion in X/Y/Z)
  • Developing motion control electronics (stepper drivers, limit switches, LED control)
  • Integrating the vision system for
    high-resolution, high-speed imaging
  • Scaling up to
    double-sided inspection

What We're Looking For

  • Background in
    Robotics, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or Automation
  • Experience with
    stepper motors, motion systems, CAD, and embedded control
  • A "builder" mindset — hands-on, creative, and comfortable working in a startup environment
  • Based in Switzerland (ideally Zürich area) or able to collaborate in person occasionally
