a Project Engineer, freeze dryer expert
(M/F/X)
.

ABOUT THE JOB:

  • You will oversee package management, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure project success from defining User Requirements Specifications (URS) to Installation and Operational Qualifications (IQ/OQ).
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define URS and ensure the alignment of project goals.
  • Oversee the entire lifecycle of the lyophilizer installation, from specification to delivery and qualification.
  • Manage subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
  • Conduct regular project reviews and ensure adherence to safety and compliance regulations.
  • Monitor project schedules, identify risks, and drive corrective actions to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Support the commissioning and qualification phases, with a focus on delivering a fully operational and compliant system.
  • Provide thorough documentation and reporting aligned with GMP standards.

ABOUT YOU:

  • A degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field (Mechanical, Chemical, Process Engineering preferred).
  • At least 5 years of experience managing CapEx or technical projects, preferably in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology sector.
  • Familiarity with lyophilization processes and associated equipment is a significant advantage.
  • Strong experience managing subcontractors and cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of GMP guidelines, project qualification, and validation processes (URS, IQ, OQ).
  • Ability to work autonomously while maintaining excellent collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Fluent in English; German language skills are a strong asset.
