With vision, purpose, and leadership, you will take charge of one of the ZHAW School of Management and Law's most internationally recognized programs. As Professor of International Business and Academic Director of the MSc in International Business, you will lead a dedicated team, shape the future of the program, and help educate the next generation of global leaders with responsible impact.

Your role

As Professor of International Business and Academic Director of the MSc in International Business, you will provide academic and strategic leadership for one of the School's flagship, FT-ranked programs. Together with an experienced team, you will shape the program's future - academically, pedagogically, and internationally. As a member of the Department of International Business leadership team, you will also contribute to the department's and the School's strategic development.

You will

• lead the program team with inspiring leadership, fostering collaboration, innovation, and excellence
• drive the MSc IB's strategic development and strengthen its global positioning
• connect research, teaching, and practice in International Business, building partnerships with companies and top international universities
• ensure academic quality, innovation, and impact
• contribute to teaching and research, focusing on international, intercultural, and digital dimensions

Your profile

You are an academic leader with international experience and a clear commitment to excellence in teaching, research, and program leadership. You have experience as faculty in a leading business school and bring a strong track record of impactful research, teaching, and program development. ¨

You bring

• a PhD in Business Administration, Management, or a related field
• successful teaching and program development experience at the university level, ideally in an international or FT-ranked environment
• leadership experience and the ability to inspire and develop teams with clarity and trust
• a strong record of scholarly publications and demonstrable impact in both academia and practice
• relevant professional experience outside academia, ideally in business or in an international organization
• excellent English proficiency (C2) and good German (C1 or willingness to achieve it)
• intercultural competence, communication skills, and motivation to contribute in a dynamic, international academic environment
• high level of personal responsibility, organizational talent, and enthusiasm for shaping a forward-looking academic institution
