Internship in Formulation

Information

In this position, you will support our team in creating a comprehensive overview of all marketed drug products that contain a biologic. Your work will focus on gathering and structuring information about the formulation composition of marketed biologics, including their dosage form such as liquid or lyophilized products and their respective routes of administration. You will collect details on dosage and clinical use, including preparation steps in hospital settings for i.v. products. In addition, you will help generate insights into primary containers and combination products, for example pre-filled syringes or auto-injectors, used for marketed biologics.

Your Responsibilities:

• Preparation of complete list of marketed biologics up to current date
• Extract relevant key information on formulation composition, dosage form, dosage frequency from literature and official documents
• File and reference primary sources in a structured way
• Screen resources for available information on primary container used in marketed biologics including combination products
• Compilation of all data in a well-organized manner for ease of reading and efficient extraction
• Other tasks related to the project as directed by supervisor

Ideal candidates will have:

• Undergraduate and graduate students of life sciences (Biochemistry, Biology, Bio-Informatics, or Pharmaceutical Sciences)
• Possibly knowledge in text-extraction methods
• Ability to work independently and reliably
• Good communication skills and willingness to work in a team
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
